To celebrate Father’s Day, in-house mentor Teacher Monet tasked the scholars to design shirts for their fathers with the statement, "Ang Tatay Kong…" The scholars worked on their shirts and later gathered in the living room to talk about their creations and their fathers.
Ross volunteered to go first and proudly proclaimed that his father was like Superman for him, crying as he talked about his "super" dad. Despite his disability, Ross’s father was able to support him and his younger sibling. Apple couldn’t help but cry as well as she thanked her "fairy gay mother" who had brought her up.
Hansen, Christian, and Bea all had misunderstandings with their fathers, but said that they loved their dads all the same. The Sweet Chanteuse was surprised when her father hugged her before she entered the Academy. Bea believed that it was the start of a better relationship between her and her father.
Iñaki said "Ang Tatay Kong Tigas" in praise of his father’s toughness while Bunny and Sheng boasted of their fathers’ talents. Chivas’s shout out was heart-warming, saying his dad helped him through his bouts of hyperventilation. Even if he was disappointed when Chivas married early, his dad was still there to support him.
