Apple, Miguel and Laarni are on probation

After garnering 4 votes, out of 7, Van was officially declared safe from the upcoming Expulsion Night, thus leaving Apple, Miguel, and Laarni as the official Probationary Scholars this week. Unlike the last two who were quite experienced with probation, the first time probee, Apple, wasn’t able to conceal her disappointment with her current status. According to her, she couldn’t accept the fact that she lost over Bugoy last Saturday. She claimed that it was somehow unfair because she put on her best show, while Bugoy didn’t even try.

After the probation process, Teacher Monet distributed the Scholars’ class cards. The top three Scholars based on the show stopper night were Liezel, Poy and Bugoy, successively. Surprisingly, the Honorary Scholar Poy was able to receive a final grade of 9.42 for her first Gala Night—only a 0.25 away from the Star Scholar Liezel’s grade. The said result aroused praises from everybody, and it also proved that she really has what it takes to take the title she’s aiming for.

Poy may have missed the award from the previous Gala Night, but she could indeed stand a chance on the next one with her gala song entitled A Piece of Sky. For the upcoming Gala Night themed as Mentors’ Choice, each Scholar was assigned with songs personally picked by the Dream Mentors themselves. Each song was meticulously chosen to challenge and bring out the best on each of them next Saturday.

Aside from the Gala Night, another activity, entitled Midterms Week, was launched inside the Academy to test the Scholars’ improvement. For the whole week, they will be rated by their own Mentors based on their performances in every class. By the end of the week, all the grades will be averaged, and they will be ranked. The Scholar who gets the highest point will have an automatic immunity from next week’s probation, while the lowest will have an automatic probationary slot.

This week will surely be a busy one for the Scholars. Aside from preparing for the Gala Night, they also have to keep themselves focused during class hours to keep their class standing in good shape.
