Tony Hadley drops by the Academy

Tony Hadley of the defunct Spandeu Ballet visited the Academy on Uberture. The sensational band popularized songs such as “Gold” and “True” which are now well-known classics. Unfortunately during the onset of the 90’s, they went their separate ways and Tony pursued a solo career. Since then, he had been starring in musicals and acting for shows in the US.

The singer/actor had been to the Philippines several times and was impressed with the receptive audience. Apart from this, he also acknowledged Filipino hospitality. He then honored everyone with his song, “Only When You Leave”.
