Bugoy serenades his mom on her birthday

Bugoy’s mother, Mrs. Myrna Bogayan is celebrating her birthday today. Earlier, the Farmer’s Son was tasked to rehearse a song without being told the reason why. Little did he know that he would be serenading his mother this afternoon.

On Uberture, Mrs. Bogayan pretended to be a fan requesting Bugoy to sing a song. Bugoy was a bit hesitant at first as he tried to recall whose voice it belonged to. Billy finally broke the surprise and told him that it was his mom. Though still in shock, he quickly composed himself and sang The Perfect Fan for his beloved mother.

Meanwhile, Direk Joey gave out a few pointers and feedbacks to some of the pairs who sang duets last Saturday. The Performance Master expressed his disappointment towards Apple’s lack of energy while Bunny and Christian were praised for stepping up their performance last Saturday.

On the other hand, to further bring out the sensuality of the scholars for this week’s performances, the Acadreamians had to lie down and sing their Gala song on a heart-shaped bed. Teacher Monet demonstrated the activity which had the scholars rolling in laughter.

This sunny atmosphere shifted however when Bea had her turn on the bed. The Sweet Chanteusse had to sing while looking at Miguel. Since the two were still at odds with each other, Bea found it difficult and broke down in tears. Miguel was quiet all throughout as he contemplated on their issues.
