For the Little Dreamers’ Second Gala Performance Night, they sang songs from the legendary group that the Headmaster himself founded, the Smokey Mountain. To judge the said Performance Night, Jimmy Antipordad, Nina, and Smokey Mountain’s very own, Jeffrey Hidalgo, were invited to fill in tonight’s panel of jurors.
The night was indeed reminiscent of the early ninety’s popular singing group. It was definitely amusing to watch all the Little Dreamers sincerely interpreting their songs. The first Little Dreamer to show off his talent on stage was Angelo. After last week's Outstanding Little Dreamer’s rendition of Da Coconut Nut, it was announced that Shane and Kelly were last week’s Probationary Little Dreamers. After the announcement, Shane performed her rendition of Best Friend, while Kelly tried to impress the judges with her interpretation of Kahit Habang Buhay.
Angelo bagged the Outstanding Little Dreamer award once more, but tonight Philip shared the title with him. The talented kid from General Santos City really kept his audience alive and kickin’ with his rockin’ version of Sama Na Kayo. Jeffrey Hidalgo admitted that he truly enjoyed watching the little kid who was obviously enjoying his performance.
Sadly, Shane’s night wasn’t as good as Angelo and Philip’s. At the end of the show, it was announced that she was the very first expelled Little Dreamer. After garnering 53.96 percent of the total text votes, Kelly was saved from tonight’s Expulsion Night. Upon hearing of the verdict, Shane couldn’t help but break down in tears. Some of her fellow Little Dreamers approached her to offer consolation, but that didn’t stop her from sobbing over her loss.
