With the Gala Night only a few hours of sleep away, duet partners Cris and Sen took practicing a little more seriously. Even with a "No-talk Policy” at hand, they didn't let it get on the way of their eagerness to rehearse. In front of the gym mirrors, they continued practicing for the Saturday night performance. Direk Joey admitted that the two looked good together during one of his classes, but aside from being a good singing tandem, the pair seemed to portray a better type of "partnership," as some of their co-Scholars called it.
Aside from being good duet partners, a quite intriguing relationship seemed to be budding between the Singing Interior Designer and the Cancer Survivor. Even before the task of singing duets, most of their co-Scholars were pretty much aware of the growing closeness between the two. Some couldn't help but notice and put colors on it. Though the two kept on denying, their co-Scholars still couldn’t help but think the other way around.
An event a little earlier somehow served as a confirmation of the Scholars’ assumption regarding the two’s budding relationship. With the use of a white board and a marker, there was somehow an emotion over-flow inside the Academy. Hansen grew a little concerned with what he claimed as Cris' change of attitude towards him. According to him, Cris was somehow acting a little "weird" towards him lately. Cris, on the other hand, immediately dismissed this idea. She said that she hasn't changed at all, so she was getting confused where Sen got that idea.
After her chat with Sen, Cris immediately sought for Bea's opinion on the matter. She blurted out everything they have talked about, and she related to her how her duet partner is confusing her in so many ways. With much confusion, she just ended the discussion by stating that she didn't want to talk about it anymore to avoid further uncertainty.
Having an idea that the two gals' topic was him, Sen immediately approached Bea to fish some information that the two just had. And just like what Cris did, Sen also openly shared his thoughts to Bea. Upon hearing Sen’s side, Bea couldn't help but utter her dismay on the two. According to her, it was pretty much evident that "the Chick (Cris) and the Chicken (Sen)" have unspoken feelings, and she just couldn’t get why the two kept on avoiding it. She added that it may have something to do with the two’s never ending paranoia.
