Teacher Monet speaks out on backstabbing matters

Laarni woke up early this morning to whip up several dishes for the Acadreamians. Teacher Monet recognized her effort but her fellow scholars didn't receive it well. As the teacher acknowledged Laarni's attempt to make peace, some of the scholars rolled their eyes in boredom.

Eventhough he was annoyed with the scholars' reaction he told them calmly a piece of his mind. He made it clear that he wasn’t defending Laarni but he was just giving credit where it was due. He pointed out that Laarni’s current situation was humbling. It was a big leap for her to make this effort and yet the others didn't appreciate it.

Apart from this, he informed everyone that he was cognizant of all the goings-on in the Academy. He knew who was being real and who was back-biting whom. In fact, he knew who was putting on a sweet front but was actually spiteful and harsh.

All this time, he had been keeping quiet about these matters but he felt that this was the right time to say his piece. These were in fact recurring issues and yet it seemed as though the scholars haven’t learned from it , repeating their mistakes again and again. The scholars were quiet all throughout and seemed in deep contemplation. Will Teacher Monet's words finally sink in ? How will this affect their performances tomorrow?
