Once again, Teacher Von visited the Scholars to fix their diction problems. To start his class, he asked each Scholar to introduce himself using the phonetic alphabet. He used this activity to practice and finally pin-point the Scholars’ trouble areas in speech. On the said activity, Bugoy’s “b” and “v” articulation problem became very evident. Upon hearing this, Teacher Von paid close attention on him and his problem area. And as their practice went on, Teacher Von noticed that Bugoy was somehow having troubles with “t” and “th” enunciation as well. Bugoy felt frustrated because he couldn’t do it right.
Aside from Bugoy, there was another Scholar who needed the utmost attention – Bea. Since she and Miguel had a last minute change of song, learning the song had to take quite some time, most especially for Bea who just heard it for the first time. Aside from having troubles with memorizing the lyrics, Bea also had a hard time hitting the right notes, and sadly, this made Miguel anxious. With Bea’s struggle, Miguel couldn’t help but feel worried of their upcoming performance, which he openly shared with his buddy Iñaki. Bea’s lack of musicality was getting to him, because he feared that her flaws will be disastrous on their duet if she doesn’t shape up by the gala night. Inaki tried to help them out but Bea still could not get the tune right. Miguel then had no choice but to ask for Teacher Monet’s assistance next. The Dream Mentor himself admitted that Bea’s fundamentals are weak, and this was the main reason why she was having a hard time.
With the Fourth Gala Night just a few hours away, could Miguel and Bea make the proper adjustments in time? Could Teacher Von’s persistence on Bugoy during their Diction Class bear its fruit tonight? Stay tuned to the Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2’s Fourth Gala Performance Night after Kapitan Boom.
